Areas We Serve in Central Indiana

Fourteen towns across Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Marion and Morgan counties, all worked out of one shop in Lebanon, Indiana.

Everything we run leaves from the same yard in Lebanon, which is what sets the shape of our service area. We work Boone County, where we are, and out from there through Hamilton, Hendricks and Marion counties, and south into Morgan County.

The ground changes as you move across that area, and so does the work. The north and east sides bring newer construction and the drainage problems that come with graded subdivision lots. The older parts of Marion County bring aging water and sewer service. West through Hendricks County there is more open ground, more ponds, more culverts and more land being cleared. Same equipment, different problems.

Distance is the other half of it. The towns closest to Lebanon see us most, and the furthest, Martinsville at about forty three miles, is a day planned around the drive. None of that changes how the work is done; it changes how a week is scheduled, which is why the map further down this page plots every town at its real distance rather than grouping them into a list that pretends they are all the same trip.

Five counties, and the ground is not the same in any two of them.

Boone County is where the shop sits, so Lebanon, Whitestown and Zionsville are the short runs. Hendricks County, Brownsburg through Avon, Danville and Plainfield, is heavy clay that holds water at the surface long after a rain, which is why so much of what we do there is drainage.

Inside Marion County the lots are older and tighter. Indianapolis, Speedway and Beech Grove bring clay soil sitting over lines that were put in decades ago, and the work is usually replacing something rather than installing it new. Hamilton County, Carmel and Fishers, is newer construction on ground that was farmland recently enough that the old field tile is still down there.

Morgan County, Mooresville and Martinsville, is the furthest edge and the most varied: flatter ground toward town and real slope south of it, where a retaining wall or erosion control is as likely a call as a water line.

Every Town, and How Far It Is

The shape of our service area is set by one thing: everything we run leaves from the same yard in Lebanon. Closer jobs are easier to schedule and cheaper to travel to, and that is worth knowing before you call.

Each town below sits at its real distance and direction from the shop.

The ring is not a boundary line. Half of what we do is in the four or five towns closest to Lebanon, and the rest is spread across the other nine, so the further towns see us less often rather than never. Whitestown and Zionsville are close enough that a crew can be there and back inside a morning; Martinsville is a drive, and we plan the day around it.

What actually decides it is the size of the work rather than the miles. Ask, and you will get a straight answer about whether the trip makes sense for what you need.

Near the Edge of Our Service Area

Call and ask. The list below is where we work regularly, not a fence. Travel is part of what a job costs, so the honest answer is sometimes that you are better served by somebody closer, and we will tell you that.
